We at New Wave Ice Cream / London Ice Cream Co. are aware that the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a growing concern for many in our region and around the globe. We want to share with you the steps that we have taken to ensure the safety of our staff, suppliers and our customers.

We are closely monitoring and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), to ensure that NWIC is doing our part to keep our staff, suppliers and our customers safe.

With those recommendations in mind, we will be taking the following steps:
Increasing frequency of cleaning and sanitizing our offices, warehouse, production plant and delivery trucks, especially most-touched surfaces like door handles, credit card readers, front desk etc. We continue to maintain our diligent cleaning routines within our building and in our CFIA inspected plant.
We have implemented a mandatory hand sanitizing station for everyone entering our building to reduce exposure and have hand sanitizing devices available in various locations.

We ask that our customers and our suppliers to please be aware of their own health and to not come into our factory, retail store, warehouse or office if they are feeling unwell or have concerns over potential exposure to COVID-19.

Additionally, NWIC / LICC is asking everyone to comply with the WHO's recommendation measures:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer;
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth unless you have just cleaned your hands;
• Cover your cough and sneezes with a tissue or into your arm, not your hand;
• If possible, stay home if you are sick;
• Put distance between yourself and other people to minimize exposure; and
• Seek medical care early is you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, and sharing your recent travel history with your health care provider.
